This news was all over the place today – even fuddy-duddy NPR. Why isn’t anyone calling Microsoft on this duplicitousness? No one wants Vista – it’s a miserable OS, everyone in our office hates it and up until this point, has demanded that Vista be removed and XP restored. Microsoft is going to sell customers Vista Ultimate and Vista Business and then tell them to downgrade to the included XP, thus allowing Microsoft to showcase a widespread adoption of Vista. Despicable. I can’t wait to get a Mac.
