This weekend I’ll be fooling around with Final Cut Express in preparation for a one-to-one session at the Holyoke Apple Store on Monday. I found iMovie to be pretty easy but I want to be able to layer multiple soundtracks and apply certain effects that I just can’t do with that platform.
Tomorrow (Sunday), I hope to do a bit of an experiment with Ustream. I was going to try to do a live DJ mix and call it “Sunday Dubby Sunday”. I’ll probably do it late in the evening. We have had some discussion of using Ustream as a presentation/community interaction platform at work (Atalasoft) but with no time for experimentation there, I’ll try it here first. I’ve watched a friend of mine, DJ Smoovebert, do Ustream broadcasts and it looks straightforward, but then again he makes everything look easy.
