Am taking a week to do a little tour of New England. first the Cape, then Gloucester, followed by several days on a lake in Maine.
Yesterday involved some sailing on Buzzard’s Bay before heading to Wood’s Hole where effects of Hurricane Bill will be felt today and tomorrow. In Gloucester, there is. “boiling water” notice due to a failure in the treatment system – this will be interesting to deal with for a couple days.
Tomorrow’s rain will mean a visit to the Edward Gorey House and heading to a bay-side beach due to the high surf advisory for the ocean side of the peninsula.
