I’m really happy to be working with the excellent tavern, The Well (312 Main Street, Great Barrington), to bring great comedy to southern Berkshire County every month. The plan is to have a comedy show the last (pre-holiday) Saturday through 2012. The first show I will host and it will feature Jessimae Peulso, a fantastic comedian from New York City, who I have seen perform several times, she even has TV credits and will be a big part of an upcoming TV show in 2013. The feature comic will be Marty Caproni who is a regular at the Comix at Foxwoods comedy club in Connecticut and has opened for the likes of Russell Brand, Jim Breuer, and many other nationally and internationally known comics. Our opening comedian is local fave Mark Jagiello, whom I have had the pleasure of working with several times. I will host the show.
The Facebook page for the event is HERE and with almost 2 weeks to the showdate of Saturday, August 25th, the show is already on the verge of selling out. I will relinquish host duties for some of the upcoming shows where I will be lucky enough to perform with the likes of Dan St. Germain (Comedy Central’s “The John Oliver New York Stand-Up Show,” FuseTV, and more) on Saturday, September 29th, as well as Paul Virzi (ESPN’s “ESPY Awards,” and more) in late October.
