The lovely and hilarious Jessimae Peluso will be coming to the Berkshires om 2 shows that I’m hosting.

PITTSFIELD, MA – Comedian Jessimae Peluso is set to headline Spice Dragon’s Laugh Lounge on Saturday, June 8th. With all the recent hubbub about women in comedy, including Jerry Lewis’ quote “women aren’t funny,” we are looking forward to Jessimae’s visit to the Berkshires to put those erroneous summaries to rest.
Peluso, star of MTV’s hit show, “Girl Code,” which airs every Tuesday at 10:30pm, is a New York City based comedian who cut her professional teeth in Boston. Peluso has been featured in the Boston Comedy Festival, the North Carolina Comedy & Arts Festival, the Women in Comedy Festival, and NYC’s Funniest Comedian Contest.
Jessimae will bring her dynamic and no-holds barred act to Pittsfield for the first time this Saturday night along with 2 other comics on the show. Doors open for seating and dinner at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm. Spice Dragon Restaurant, 297 North Street, Pittsfield, MA. This is an uncensored, adult comedy show for persons 18 years & up. “We want to provide an intimate and affordable comedy club atmosphere in the Berkshires, something that is lacking at the large theater shows, with access also available to recent high school graduates and college-enrolled young adults,” said booker Thomas Attila Lewis.
First, on Friday night, June 7th, she will be doing a set at the very intimate Rumpy’s Tavern in Lenox, MA. Show starts at 8pm. This show is FREE but seating is extremely limited and we will be turning people away once all the seats are filled.
Then on Saturday, June 8th, she will be headlining the Laugh Lounge at Spice Dragon, 297 North Street, in Pittsfield. Tickets are $15 for a full show with 3 comics in one of the coolest rooms in Western MA, if not the state. Call 413-443-1234 to reserve tickets or buy them in advance online HERE.
